We seem to have an immense list of things we are taking, it didnt really seem that much when we were thinking of getting various bits and bobs, but having written it all out (being the overly organised freak I am!) it seems so much! Here is the list so far, and yes my hair straightners are on there, not because Im very vain but you never know I might need them on a frizzy hair day and people always say you should try and look your best at all times, which I fall down on most of the time, but they are so slim Im packing them for every eventuality And so the list begins..... Rucac (x2) Day sack (x2) Rucsac liner (x2) Moneybelt Hideaway pouch (for money/passports and general important stuff!) Padlock and chain Torch Lighter Matches (I have been told I will need these!) Pen knife Washing line with sink plug all in one Minni sewing kit Safety pins Plug adaptor Power charges Calculator Ear plugs Various books/guidebooks www.hysjw.cn Submit Travel Information Note book and pen Transparent wallets Alarm clock Soap Toothpaste Razor Wash bag Travel towel Shower gel Wet wipes Toilet paper/tissue Laundry soap Shampoo/conditioner Hairbrush Insect repellent with DEET First Aid Kit Injection kit Malaria tablets Hair straightners! Moisturiser Document wallet Tiger balm And last but not least.... A compass - not sure why we would particuarly need this but Phil wants one So as you can see, it is quite a long list. And I would be more than open to suggestions, if things on there seem a bit silly to be taking please let me know! Ive never been away from home for longer than 6 weeks before so any help would be greatly appreciated. I know we can buy most if not all of the above where we are going, but I dont want to be worried about shopping at least for a month or two! P.S - only 10 weeks of work left......oh my goodness!!! |
